Dave Crossed joined Drexel University in June of 2022 as the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, within the University’s department of Information Technology. Dave is responsible for driving strategic programs that cut across IT, Drexel’s schools and administrative functions.
Dave is a professional services and management consulting industry leader with 35 years of experience in business operations, finance and organizational strategy. In 2010, Dave joined Navigate, a newly established management consulting firm that now serves many of the largest enterprises in the Mid-Atlantic. Dave had a unique blend of responsibilities, including driving the firm’s operational and people strategy, along with significant revenue and client relationship management obligations. Dave left Navigate 2022 and remains a shareholder.
Dave has advised executive leaders in helping establish and operationalize their most pressing strategic priorities involving customer experience, operating model and enterprise technology transformation.
Dave started his career in public accounting and spent several years in financial and operational roles within the telecommunications industry. In 2003, Dave joined a regional accounting and consulting firm, helping grow the management consulting practice from 30 to 200 professionals over a 7-year period.
Dave is on the Board of Directors for Philadelphia Works (appointed by former Mayor Kenney), Philly Cooks for Philly and Kids Smiles. He is also an active member of the Union League of Philadelphia and its Legacy Foundation. He grew up in Rochester, New York and graduated from St. Bonaventure University. He moved to the Philadelphia region from New York City with his wife, Colleen, in 1996.
Dave and Colleen have five children and reside Wayne, PA.
